Ethan knows almost ever letter by sight now. I've really been impressed with how he's picked them up the last few weeks. Most letters he associates with names of family and friends. So, D is for daddy and M is for mommy and T is for Tiffany(his teacher), etc. Its pretty fun to work with him on the letters each night at bed time.
Cripes... it posted before I was ready.
Anyway... tonight he outsmarted me. I asked him to count the penguins on the page(there were 7) and as he pointed to each one he said, 'that is one, that is one, that is one, that is one, etc....' Well done. Its funny to see how the thought process of a 2.5 year old differs from that of a rational human being such as myself.
